Weight Loss
Problems
There are some common weight loss problems that can
be avoided if you realize what they are. Many people may not even know why they are having problems
losing weight.
It’s very discouraging when you are trying your hardest to get the weight off and
you don’t have a clue why it isn’t working. Some of the issues are obvious, but some aren’t so obvious. That’s why
I’ve taken the time to list a few of the less obvious weight loss problems you may run into on your journey to a
thinner body.
When you start a diet it is easier for you to get rid of, or at least
cut back on, the foods in your house that aren’t in your diet plan. This can be hard to do if you have a family
that isn’t on your diet. One thing you can do is try to get your family to follow along with your diet
plan.

This may not always be the easiest thing to do, but then again it never hurts to
ask. If your family members need to lose weight also then this might be the best solution for your weight loss
problems. Because it’s really hard to stay on your diet when you are eating around other people that aren’t on a
diet with you.
On to some other weight loss problems that
should be discussed. Stress is another issue that is a big one. Most of us have stressful lives. It’s difficult to
get away from the stress of work, school, and even some personal relationships. When you get stressed your body
releases a hormone called cortisol.
This hormone isn’t bad when small amounts are secreted, but when we stress larger
amounts are released. These larger amounts of cortisol can wreak havoc on your weight loss plans. Cortisol is known
for increasing belly fat in particular. It’s a good idea to learn how to calm yourself down after stressful
situations, so that you can keep your cortisol levels in check.
Finally, setting unrealistic goals is another animal to contend with. You don’t
want to set a goal that you can’t reach within a relatively short amount of time. Having a goal to lose 100
pounds is great, but you should take it one step at a time. Set a goal for 2 pounds each week, which is about the
maximum fat your body can lose without losing muscle in that period of time.
If you stick to focusing on losing that 2 pounds of fat a week by the time you
know it you will be up to that 50-100 pound weight
loss. It’s much easier on your mind to focus on losing the 2 pounds per week than it is to think, “I
lost 2 pounds, but I still have 98 to go..”.
Think about it, you will hit your goal 50 times by the time you get to up to
losing that 100 pounds. Thinking this way will have you feeling good 50 times, and that’s a
setup for success! Remember, small goals are a far more positive approach to thinking when you are
dieting.
These weight loss
problems are some of the ones you might not think about when you first start your
diet plan, but they should be.
If you are aware of what’s happening you can take steps to change and take charge
of your weight loss! Here is the perfect plan (which has
beginner to advanced workouts) to start your road to success.
