This book's author Tom Venuto is a bodybuilding champion that has spent 14 years
researching what does and doesn't work with regards to building muscle and getting lean.
In the off season he stays between 7% to 8% body fat, and while competing has
gotten as low as 3.7% body fat. This guy knows his stuff!
The main goal of this book is to lose fat while preserving or actually gaining muscle. Weight training and
cardio exercise are an important part of this diet plan. Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle has many unique facts about
fat loss and preserving muscle that I haven't seen in other books.

I'm impressed with the vast amount of information in this book. Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle gives you formulas
to figure out your BMR (Base Metabolic Rate), the amount of calories you burn each day without any exercise.
The book also helps you figure out if you are carb tolerant, which is a very good fact to know when you want to
lose weight. It breaks people down into different body types, and gives special instructions for each type.
The diet plan consists of eating multiple small meals a day with protein, carbs, and fats in every meal. There
are food tables with different food categories that give you foods you should definitely be eating, foods that are
good but not the best, down to the foods that you should rarely ever eat. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is all about
eating a healthy diet with low glycemic carbohydrates.
Tom gives his view of the supplement industry. He believes that supplements for the most part are not needed to
get lean and muscular. Tom does tell which supplements he thinks work. It seems that Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle
is very honest about the whole supplement industry and the use of supplements in general.

Muscle stresses the importance of weight training and cardio exercise as
part of a whole solution to health, and burning almost every bit of fat off you body. This makes perfect sense
because the more muscle you have on your body the more fat you are going to burn each day even when resting.
I enjoyed the chapter on setting goals. Setting goals is sometimes an overlooked part of a diet plan, but
shouldn't be. Setting goals and reaching them can give a big mental boost which will help you continue to do the
right things to keep your weight loss going strong. The book helps you with your mental as well as physical
state.
Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle says it the fat loss bible and I believe it's true. If you buy the book it comes
with 5 more bonuses that total about 100 more pages of excellent material. This book is a extremely good value. I
don't know that I have ever seen the amount of information this book covers for the price. Burn The Fat Feed The
Muscle gets 5 stars in my book!
